About the Mutt
Located in the heart of Halasur, amidst the ever-growing city of Bangalore, Shree Mounananda Guruswamigal Mutt is a sacred and serene temple that has stood for over approximately 150 years.
Sri Mounananda Guru Swamigal Mutt has Jeeva Samadhis of Sri Mounananda Guru Swamigal and His Dharmapatni Yogini Unnamalai Amma, sanctified and spiritually charged by their tapas and divine presence.
Ayya’s direct teachings are not available in written form, but he has shared his messages with devotees through symbols and images carved on the pillars and walls of the mutt.
The prasadam prepared at the mutt is deeply revered. It is believed to embody the spiritual energy of Ayya and Amma, which travels to each and every cell in the body, sanctifying every devotee who partakes of it.
